The CSUSB student-produced, four-minute newscast “Local Matters” airs daily, every 30 minutes on Charter Communications cable channel that carries CNN’s Headline News. In a region that has no local television newscast, “Local Matters” is a broadcast news-magazine feature format that covers news and events that are of interest to viewers in San Bernardino and Riverside counties. It is the first such programming partnership in the Inland Empire.
