As president of the San Antonio division, Rivers is responsible for all day-to-day operations, including land acquisition and development, construction, purchasing, customer service, sales and marketing. In addition, Rivers will oversee the implementation of a new customer satisfaction program. While most homebuilders would be delighted with Kaufman and Broad of San Antonio's 94 percent customer satisfaction rating, Rivers will oversee the implementation of a new 100 percent customer satisfaction program. This Company-wide program focuses on making each and every employee, subcontractor and vendor strive to achieve 100 percent customer satisfaction in every stage of the new homebuying and building process.
Kaufman and Broad is currently building homes in 32 communities located throughout San Antonio, Boerne, Converse, New Braunfels, Schertz and Seguin. The division employs approximately 350 people.
Prior to joining Kaufman and Broad, Rivers was president of the southeast region of D.R. Horton, based in Atlanta. He also has held positions with Mainstreet Homes, L.H. Hooker and Gemcraft Homes. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas.
