As part of KB Home’s ongoing partnership with the City of San Jose, data from the eleven on site air monitors recorded five exceedances of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District guidelines during the week of March 24, 2025.
March 24: Exceedances occurred at stations 5, 8 and 11, likely due to traffic and grading operations occurring near and upwind of these stations. Additional water was added to the area, equipment count was reduced, and production was slowed.
March 25: An exceedance occurred at station 5, likely due to grading operations occurring near and upwind of this station. Additional water was added and production was slowed throughout the site.
March 26: An exceedance occurred at station 9, likely due to traffic and delivery operations occurring upwind of these stations. Additional water was added, and surface scraping and sweeping was implemented at this location.
