As part of KB Home’s ongoing partnership with the City of San Jose, data from the seven on site air monitors recorded four exceedances of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District guidelines during the week of May 1, 2023.
May 1: Exceedances occurred at P8, P9E and 10D, which were related to excess soil track out and street sweeping upwind from the monitors. Adjustments were made and dust mitigation measures were implemented.
May 3: An exceedance occurred at 9E, the cause was related to contractors working upwind and adjustments were made and dust mitigation measures were implemented.
