As part of KB Home’s ongoing partnership with the City of San Jose, data from the ten on site air monitors recorded two exceedances of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District guidelines during the week of September 20, 2021.
September 21: There was exceedance noted on P2, which was caused contractors working upwind as well as an overflow of construction parking dust mitigation was limited. Parking was relocated and dust mitigation in the parking area resumed.
September 21: There was exceedance noted on P3, which was due to hot weather and the ground becoming dry, additional water was implemented.
