You’ve selected your floor plan, homesite, exterior elevation, figured out financing and are finally ready to bring your home to life. Welcome to the KB Home Design Studio, where the real fun begins — and where you’ll choose everything from flooring and light fixtures to appliances and countertops to make your home your own.

Here’s a breakdown of what to expect moving forward, so you can start preparing for your appointments.

Step 1: Meet your design consultant and make initial design choices.

If you’ve already purchased your home, give us a call and we’ll make a live video appointment for you to meet with your design consultant, who will partner with you to personalize your home. Think of them as your very own design concierge who you can turn to at any point in the process to answer questions, provide expert advice, and help you make design choices that will fit within your budget.

Step 2: Complete and finalize your design choices.

Your design consultant will take you through the Studio experience via a private in-person or live video appointment and provide you with information to help you make the best decisions that fit your life and style. In the creative space of the Studio, you will be able to view beautiful flooring samples and match them up to paint swatches, countertop and cabinet samples to see how they look together.

You’ll also be able to modify your floor plan and add technology options like digital wiring and other energy-saving options.

Step 3: Financing your design choices.

You’ll be happy to know that many of our design choices are included at no additional cost. If, however, there are products or features that you really love, these options (in most cases), can be financed through your home loan — meaning you’ll only be paying a few dollars every month for those extras you absolutely had to have. And your design consultant will be there every step of the way to help you stay within budget.
